A little bit about us
Tapia's Seats is a family-owned business specializing in ebike upholstery. In addition to crafting ebike seats, we also provide interior upholstery services for cars, all from our location in High Point, NC. Our store offers a diverse selection of ebikes as well. We prioritize comfort for our fellow ebike enthusiasts, understanding how uncomfortable factory seats can be.
Information you need to know before buying
Color/stitching color
Each product gives you 3 choices to choose for the color/stitching color of your seat. You do NOT have to choose those 3, there should be a option to choose "other" which gives you a choice to choose any other color you would like. After this, you should see a text box at the bottom, you then type in the color of your choice.
Material
We use Marine Vinyl for our seats, the same durable material used for boat upholstery. This waterproof and UV-resistant material is designed to withstand radiation, ensuring your seats remain in excellent condition. Additionally, we utilize the high-quality thread for stitching, which is resistant to damage from sun exposure.
OE Logo v.s Custom logo
We frequently receive inquiries about the distinction between the OE Logo and the Custom Logo.
OE Logo: This is the ORIGINAL Ebike Embroidery Logo, representing the brand of your bike. The price for this logo is $25.00 USD.
Custom Logo This refers to any logo of your choice, which can include your company logo or a personalized design. As long as you provide a PDF or image of the logo, we can incorporate it into your bike. The price for this is $35.00 USD.
Patterns
We use patterns and designs for the top of the seat to enhance its appearance. This personalization does not affect the comfort of your seat; it simply allows you to choose a design that reflects your style. There is no extra charge unless you opt for a custom pattern. The patterns are stitched directly onto the seat.
Types of foam
This foam type depends on the rider's weight. If you weigh over 200 lbs, please contact us via email or phone. An upgrade to heavy-duty foam is available an additional $25 to guarantee your comfort.
Please note: Any changes to the foam will classify as a custom seat, so be sure review our policy regarding this.
